Deadline for Submission of Nominations for the PSA Search for Annual Awardees

The PSA Search and Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the following awards: 

1. Tito Mijares Lifetime Achievement Award- aims to promote, encourage and acknowledge outstanding accomplishments of a statistician during a career in the broad field of statistics - education and training, surveys, government, statistical theory and applications.

2. Outstanding Institutional Partnership Award- aims to give recognition to an institutional member for continued exceptional contribution to the advancement of statistical thinking and literacy.

3. Outstanding Service Award- aims to give recognition to an individual PSA member for continued exceptional service in line with the attainment of PSA objectives.

Nominations forms are available at the Philippine Statistical Association office or may be downloaded at the PSA website www.philstat.org.ph. The deadline for nominations is 30 September 2008.
