Training Course on Statistics for Forecasting and Risk Management

Due to popular demand, the Philippine Statistical Association, Inc. (PSA) is pleased to announce that the second batch of the 3-day training course on Statistics for Forecasting and Risk Management will be held at the Statistical Research and Training Center, J&S Bldg., Kalayaan Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City on 17-19 November 2009.

The training is part of PSA’s commitment to conduct non-degree training programs in statistics to upgrade the knowledge and skills of statistical personnel of its institutional members. The focus of this training is to showcase the application of statistical tools and techniques in forecasting and risk management. The software Eviews will be used during lectures and hands-on exercises. Participants should have background in Regression and Time Series Analyses.

Registration fee for the 3-day course is Six Thousand Pesos (PhP 6,000.00) inclusive of training kit. As institutional member, you are entitled to one (1) free slot. We encourage you to send more than one participant. However, due to limited slots available, acceptance will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The deadline for submittal of registration forms is no later than 6 November 2009.
